You can lean wooden signs against the bases of lamp posts or against the side of your house beside the door. You can tie them to trees or fences. You can place them anywhere, inside or out! If you have a display outside, you may wish to label it for your small, fly-by-night neighborhood explorers: "The Vampire's Graveyard," "Joe's Bones," "The Smith House of Haunts," or "Batland." For longer-lasting signs, you may wish to varnish them, but if they begin to weather and crack, your house may begin to look quite authentically haunted.
